Professional Activities and Interests My two main areas of research are (1) Functional analysis and Algebra, specifically JB*-triples, Ternary Rings of Operators (TROs), and Operator Spaces, and (2) Statistical Modeling, especially in sports. Personal

I have a wonderful wife, Nancy, and two awesome children, Joseph (age 17) and Emily (age 14). My main interests outside of mathematics are, first of all, Jesus Christ, and secondarily games, history, philosophy, sports, and alternative rock.
