Professional Activities and Interests

My two main areas of research are (1) Functional analysis and Algebra, specifically JB*-triples, Ternary Rings of Operators (TROs), and Operator Spaces, and (2) Statistical Modeling in sports. My publications are listed on my vita below. Those that have not yet appeared in journals may be found by a search on the Math ArXiv (link below) in the "Functional Analysis" category

I have a wife, Nancy, and two children, Joseph (age 16) and Emily (age 14). My main interests outside of mathematics are, first of all, Jesus Christ, and secondarily games, history, philosophy, sports, and alternative rock.
