2014 Denison Spring Programming Contest
This year, 17 teams from 6 schools (Denison, Baldwin-Wallace, Muskingum, Ohio Wesleyan, Oberlin, and U of Akron) and one home-school team competed in this 4-hour contest.
"Uberlin", from Oberlin, won the contest, solving their last problem in the final two minutes of the contest. "Public Static Void Pain", also from Oberlin, got second place even though they finished all the problems with an hour to spare (they lost out on re-submission penalties). "@_@" (Denison) also got all 6 problems and ended in third place. "Megahurts" (Oberlin) and "DU While" (Denison) both solved five apiece for fourth and fifth place, respectively. All problems were solved.
Congratulations to Amanda Strominger, Scott Hulver, and Nathan Klein (Uberlin) on a strong showing and an exciting finish.
Final Standings with breakdown of problems submitted and solved for each team.
The problem set and judge's data can be found in the contest archives.
Congratulations to all the students who participated. Hope to see you next year. (Next year's contest will be at the usual time of the last Saturday in February.)
