Maple Statistics Supplement

Announcement

This is an announcement of the availability of an update of the Maple statistics supplement for Maple 8. Specific information regarding the use of the various procedures of the supplement is provided in Appendix B of Probability and Statistics Explorations with Maple, Second edition by Z.A.Karian and E.A. Tanis (Prentice Hall, 1999).

Obtaining the Supplement

The statistics supplement for Maple 8 may be obtained through HTTP downloading only.

As a courtesy I have also kept the stats supplement for previous versions. They may be downloaded one of 2 ways. Either as HTTP (zipped files) or anonymous FTP.
To download as zipped files click on the appropriate files listed below. To obtain instructions on how to obtain the files using ftp, click on the Manual Ftp instuctions link below. After downloading see the instructions on installing the files below.

Installing the Stat Supplement as a Package

If you are downloading the zipped files, unzip them using any zip package downloadable from the interenet. This should unzip to two files stat.src (the Maple module containing the source code) and maple.hdb (the help system).

Using the instructions available from the Maple Application Center convert the module into a Maple package.
