About the Course Project and Final Exam
Physics 200, Spring 2001

This page details information about the Course Project and Final Exam for this course.

The Course Project in this course is a physics inquiry that you do in a group alone or in a group of two people. The project will be based on a topic of your choosing -- which you will study based on material from the course, and possibly some material from outside the course.

The projects will have both a written (3-10 pages) and oral (10 minutes + 5 minutes for questions) component. The oral component will be presented in class during the last week of classes.

Your course projects are due during the last week of classes.

You will also have a Final Exam. The Final Exam will be given during the normally scheduled exam time, which is Friday May4th for this class. More information will be made available later. You can use one 8.5x11'' sheet of paper as a crib sheet for the exam.

Some Possible Project Ideas

There are many possible project ideas. Invariably, the best ideas are not from the list below, but are based on your own interests. These are just meant to be representative ideas.
