About the Final Project
Physics 123, Fall 1999

This page details information about the Final Project for this course.

The Final Project in this course is a physics inquiry that you do in a group alone or in a group of two people. The project will be based on a topic of your choosing -- which you will study based on material from the course, and possibly some material from outside the course.

The projects will have both a written (3-10 pages) and oral (10 minutes + 5 minutes for questions) component. The oral component will be presented in class during the last week of classes.

Your final projects are due during the last week of classes.

Some Possible Final Project Ideas

There are many possible project ideas. Invariably, the best ideas are not from the list below, but are based on your own interests. These are just meant to be representative ideas.

If you have any questions, or comments, please e-mail them to me at doty@cc.denison.edu. Thanks!
