Course Description
This is the first semester of a two semester,
calculus-based introduction to the physical universe.
This semester is devoted to the understanding of Newton's laws of motion,
gravity, fluids, and thermodynamics.

Exam #3 -- Friday, November 30
Final Exam -- Thursday, December 13th, 9:00-11:00am
These times, dates, and coverages are still tentative. Please
note that except for excused medical absences, THERE WILL
BE NO MAKE UP EXAMINATIONS! ANY EXAMS THAT YOU MISS WILL BE
GRADED AS A ZERO.

42% of final grade from Best three of four hourly exams (3 x 14% each)
26% of final grade from Final Exam
12% of final grade from the Laboratory
10% of final grade from On-line Exercises
10% of final grade from Class Participation and Homework
