1¼ cups milk or half & half 8" pie plate
3 beaten eggs pie weights
½ tsp. vanilla flavoring pastry paper
½ tsp. almond or walnut flavoring pie crust shield or foil to protect
      crust from over-browning
2 Tbs. plain or gravy flour
4 Tbs. cocoa  
1 8" pie crust  

Directions

Preheat oven to 400° F.

Roll pie crust, place in pie plate, add pastry paper and pie weights.
Bake crust at 400° for 10 minutes.

Mix wet and dry ingredients separately. With mixer on, slowly add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until well integrated. Some small lumps are normal.

Add filling to partially baked crust. Reduce heat to 375° and bake pie for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
